Betting Sites Not on GamStop

Basswin, Spinpolo and SpellWin run euro cashiers, so a sterling payment to those is converted at your bank’s rate. LuckyWave, Legionbet, Beonbet and Prestige Spin are listed as “Offshore” where the licence jurisdiction was not stated on the site.

We funded real accounts on all 12 sites and worked through each one on real hardware. The coverage on this page comes from the cashier screens and the apps themselves, not from a features list.

We tested on six devices: Google Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 2 XL, Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy A17, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 11. On each site we set up the account, deposited, placed bets and, where offered, tried a Bet Builder and a Cash Out. Payment methods and limits were read off the live cashier, which is why some figures here differ from what the sites advertise. Where we did not record a specific figure, we say so rather than fill it in.

These sites take payment methods UK books cannot. Every one accepts crypto, and three accept credit cards, which UK-licensed bookmakers dropped in 2020. Sign-up is an email and a password, with no ID upload before you deposit. Because a GamStop registration does not reach them, a self-excluded player can open an account, which is the main reason people look for these sites.

What you give up

There is no UKGC protection. No GamStop, no enforced deposit limit, and no Alternative Dispute Resolution route if a payment goes wrong. The responsible-gambling tools are whatever each site chooses to offer, not a regulated standard. Withdrawals run at 1 to 3 business days on every method, so none of these is an instant-payout site. Three run in euros, so a sterling deposit is converted.

If you registered with GamStop because gambling was causing you harm, using a site that ignores it is not a step we would suggest. Blocking software such as Gamban and BetBlocker still works on these sites even though GamStop does not, and support is free through GamCare, BeGambleAware and Gordon Moody.

Not every offshore book is trustworthy. These are the checks we run before depositing, and the signs that tell us to walk away.

• No licence in the footer. A legitimate offshore book shows its licence and number in the footer. If there is nothing to find, do not deposit.
• Crypto as the only option. Crypto is fine as a choice, but a book that takes nothing else leaves you no chargeback route.
• An ID request on an unsecured page. Verification is normal, but documents should go through a secure, encrypted upload, never a plain form.
• Redirects to mirror domains. If the site keeps bouncing you to addresses with random numbers, treat it as a warning.
• No responsible-gambling tools. A book with no deposit limit, time-out or self-exclusion option has skipped the basics.
• A pattern of withheld-payout complaints. Spend a few minutes on Trustpilot and Reddit first. A run of the same complaint about blocked withdrawals is the clearest signal to avoid a site.

Most of these sites are web apps you pin to your phone’s home screen, not downloads. A few are real apps. Here is the split from testing.

• Native App Store or APK: LuckyWave has a real iPhone app on the App Store and an Android APK. Runa, Legionbet, Basswin and Prestige Spin have an Android APK, but no iPhone app, so iOS runs from the browser.
• Web app only: Beonbet, WinWinter, SpellWin, Spinpolo, Daytonaspin, Gambiva and Wildzy have no store listing and no APK. You run them from the browser and pin them to the home screen.

Anything claiming to be a downloadable app file for the web-app sites is best avoided. The home screen is the only real mobile route for them.

Two methods are universal. Every site takes crypto, and every site takes at least one card scheme, with the full payment methods picture set out below. After that it thins out, and some methods people expect are missing.

• Crypto: all 12. Coin lists run from a single stablecoin up to nine coins at Runa, and across these crypto betting sites most pay out in crypto too, though Basswin and LuckyWave take it on deposit only.
• Debit and credit cards: all 12 take a card. Across these card betting sites, three, WinWinter, Daytonaspin and Spinpolo, also take credit cards, which carry a cash-advance fee from your bank.
• Bank transfer and open banking: nine of 12. Gambiva, Wildzy and Prestige Spin do not offer it, which leaves nine bank transfer betting sites, open banking included.
• Revolut: eight of the 12 betting sites accept Revolut; Gambiva, Wildzy, Prestige Spin and WinWinter do not.
• Google Pay: five of the 12 are Google Pay betting sites, deposit only: Basswin, Beonbet, Spinpolo, WinWinter and Daytonaspin.
• Apple Pay: just three are Apple Pay betting sites, deposit only: Basswin, Gambiva and Beonbet, and Gambiva is the only one that takes Apple Pay but not Google Pay.

Some methods are simply not here. PayPal is accepted at none of the 12, because of PayPal’s own licensing rules. Among e-wallets, only Skrill appears, and only at Runa. Neteller, Paysafecard and pay-by-mobile are not offered by any of them.

If a deposit is refused, the usual cause is a gambling block in Revolut or your banking app, not the cashier. Switch it off, noting the cooling-off delay, and try again.

Every site covers football and the main leagues. Coverage past that varies, so here is where the 12 stand on the sports people ask about most.

Bonuses come in a few shapes. A deposit-match welcome (Beonbet, 100% up to £150), a free bet (LuckyWave and Legionbet, up to £100), a weekly reload (Runa), plus cashback or acca boosts on some books. • Pick a site from the list above. Check the licence, the currency and the sports you want are covered.
• Register. Enter an email and a password, set your country to the UK and your currency, and confirm you are 18 or over. No ID upload is needed at this stage on the sites we tested.
• Deposit. Choose a method in the cashier. Floors run from £10 to £25. If a payment is refused, check for a gambling block in your bank or Revolut app.

• Place your bets on the markets the site carries.
